Latest BeagleBone® Enhanced "Automotive Cape"
Extending the BeagleBone® Enhanced Functionality for In-Vehicle Applications
We are in the final stages of prototyping our latest BeagleBone® Enhanced (BBE) Automotive Cape.
Our Automotive Cape is a daughter-board add-on product for SanCloud’s BBE to extend its functionality for a variety of automotive applications.
Specs include :
- mini-PCIe (USB) for 4G/3G/GPRS modem GPS with support for active antenna.
- CAN (H/L)
- 3 bicolour LEDs with location holes for light pipes
- SuperCap backed RTC
- 6 Bi-Directional signals (12V tolerant)
- 4 Dedicated input signals (12V tolerant)
Just need to fine tune the mounting posts for the modem.
It all fits together quite nicely with the BBE
