BeagleBone® Enhanced Industrial to get Wireless Connectivity
The SanCloud BeagleBone® Enhanced (BBE) Industrial is now in widespread use as an embedded system in a variety of manufacturing, refining and construction sector applications. As its potential was being realised both within these sectors and beyond, the need for wireless connectivity was becoming increasingly apparent.
In response to the differing wireless connectivity requirements of our customers, we will be commencing work on a new variant of the current BeagleBone® Enhanced Industrial.
The new board will be equipped with a dual-band wireless network processor offering 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, 2.1/3.0/4.0 Bluetooth and external antennae via u.FL connector.
The product will be available from February 2020.
