To enable our devices to communicate, aside from Ethernet and other physical connectivity we rely on a number of wireless protocols and systems: 

Bluetooth - SanCloud
Wi-Fi Devices - SanCloud

Used for exchanging data between our fixed and mobile IoT devices over short distances

Operating on the IEEE 802.15.4 specification, we use Zigbee to create secure networks for low data rate transmission and low power consumption between our IoT devices

IEEE 802.11x over the air interfaces including compliant public WiFi services and Wireless Intrusion Prevention Systems (WIPS)

Thread - SanCloud

Operating on the IEEE 802.15.4 specification, we use Thread in the same way as Zigbee

Using the GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou systems, our IoT devices assure tracking precision in asset tracking applications across the globe

Long term evolution for machines (LTE-M) is a low power wide area (LPWA) technology which supports IoT through lower device complexity and extended coverage, while allowing reuse of the LTE installed base and a battery lifetime of 10 years plus.

Narrowband-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is a low power wide area (LPWA) technology developed to enable a wide range of new IoT devices and services. NB-IoT improves power consumption, battery life, system capacity and spectrum efficiency, especially in deep coverage. 

IoT Web Apps & Platforms

This is where all of the data from IoT devices is received, retained, managed, processed, analysed and displayed in a user-interface via a PC or mobile app. Our customers can choose to use their own platform or select one of our SanTrack cloud-based platforms which can be customised to requirements.
