Marc Murphy

Marc is a founder of SanCloud and is Director of Software Engineering.

He is responsible for planning and support for SanCloud products and customer designs. Marc also provides technical support and consulting to SanCloud clients to ensure the best use of SanCloud products. He has previously worked with Mettler Toledo, Pace Digital, Commscope, Thermo Fisher Scientific before setting up SanCloud.

Marc has been a software developer for over 20 years. As a young developer he was identified by Siemens as a rising star who invested in him by way of sponsorship though his university education. He has worked through the ranks of embedded system design to senior engineer also designing and patenting IPR for Siemens products. 

Marc has grown the software consultancy and development of SanCloud over the last 5 years with the team going from strength to strength as they design, develop and deliver new innovative and exciting products for both SanCloud and its customers.

Marc is passionate about current and emerging technologies for the Automotive and IoT sectors. He is dedicated to the support and delivery to customers both internal and external. 

Marc holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Computer and Electronics Systems Engineering from Salford University.

He likes to spend time with his family and enjoys motorsport.
