David Anthony

David is a founder of SanCloud and is Director of Hardware Engineering. 

Heading up the hardware design team, David and his team are responsible for all of the SanCloud hardware designs. Covering all aspects of hardware from in house test boards to BeagleBone Enhanced and customer bespoke designs by capturing initial concept and architecture, schematic and PCB design, assembly, testing and final delivery to customer.

David has been an electronic hardware designer for over 25 years. Starting on testing of industrial control systems before moving on to consumer products for clients worldwide. During his career David has worked up from engineer to principle level before setting up SanCloud.

David takes a keen interest in all things engineering and science related across many different technology sectors. 

David holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Electronics Engineering from Hull University. 

He likes to spend time flying quad copters, building with Lego and reading.
